It's time to renew all animal licenses/tags for 2025!
1/10/2025
If you have not renewed your animal license yet, IT'S TIME!
This is just a reminder to our residents who live within city limits that all dogs over six (6) months old shall be licensed for and by the calendar year of January 1 through December 31. For dogs that have previously been licensed in the city, fees shall be paid no later than March 1. Any person who does not register their dog and pay the fee by March 1 shall be subject to a ten dollar ($10.00) late fee. For a full list of the city's animal ordinances, visit our Animal Services page.
In the past, all residents were required to renew animal licenses in person at City Hall. We have additional options now, to help accomodate our patrons' busy schedules and limit your (and our) exposure during this nasty cold & flu season:
- You may download, print and complete the dog license application and deliver it to us at City Hall. Be sure to include proof of current rabies vaccination. If you stop by outside our normal business hours, you may drop of your application in the dropbox to the left of the entrance.
- If you'd like to submit your request for dog licenses ONLINE: Complete This Online Form To Review Our Animal Ordinances And Request ONLINE To Renew Your Dog License. At this time, will need to complete a new form for each additional dog.
If you choose to use the new options above, will be happy to rech out to you to process your payment over the phone (credit/debit card only).
Animal Licensing For Large & Small Animals: Regretfully, we do not currently have our large & small animal license application online right now, but it will be uploaded once it's been updated. Please feel free to stop in to renew your license in person.
