Press Release from Payette County Sheriff's Office

7/3/2024

On June 26, 2024, at 1:30 PM a large microburst occurred in Payette County causing a significant amount of damage to crops and buildings. The Payette County Office of Emergency Management, Payette County Board of County Commissioners, and the Idaho Office of Emergency Management are working together to identify possible sources of assistance to property owners, small businesses, and farmers. The Payette County Office of Emergency Management has developed a Preliminary Damage Assessment Form for all citizens in Payette County to report the damage that they sustained as a result of the storm. This process is designed to collect data that may help Payette County, the State of Idaho, and the Small Business Administration (SBA) assess the potential availability of assistance to private property owners/renters or business owners to recover from the damage caused by the storm. Completing this form does not guarantee eligibility for assistance, nor does it constitute an application for aid. The information provided is solely for preliminary damage assessment purposes and will be used to evaluate the possibility of offering assistance to private property owners/renters or business owners. Preliminary Damage Assessment Form is located at: https://forms.office.com/g/9p2crrLN8A This link is for property located within Payette County.
