Message from Mayor York

4/1/2020

Dear Citizens of New Plymouth,

I would like to take a moment and say thank you to all the members of our community in this fight against Covid-19. This has impacted us all so much and we need to stand together as a community and do our best by each other.

Thank you to everyone that is able to work from home and to the New Plymouth School District for keeping our students safe and being able to teach them from school to home. Thank you to our Payette County Sheriff’s office, EMS, QRU and NPRFPD for putting yourselves at risk every day.

At this time, I would like to encourage everyone to continue social distancing of 6 feet and to do your best by staying home. The more we comply, the quicker this pandemic will be over.

We will continue to do our best by keeping you informed with the latest news regarding Covid-19. You may also get the latest updates at www.coronavirus.idaho.gov.

The Primary Elections will be held on May 19, 2020 but only by absentee ballot voting. You can access an absentee ballot on Payette County’s website at www.payettecounty.org.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact City Hall at 208-278-5338.

Sincerely,

Rick York

Mayor of New Plymouth
